Poems About Proverbs From Other Countries
These are going to be poems based on proverbs from different countries. I just decided to try doing this, so I'm not sure if this is an official thing or not. Just google proverbs from a country of your choice, find one that inspires you, leave the proverb as the title, and write about it. This also works for sayings and idioms.
French
Qui vivra Verra,
He who lives shall see,
The things that will come.
So I will wait and be,
Blind to what this will become
When the day is here,
I'll look back and laugh.
I'll know not to fear.
I didn't know half.
Look at the sunrise,
The glorious rays.
And you'll realize,
Their the brightest days
De tal palo, tal astilla.
From such a branch, comes
Such a twig it's true.
If flowers are white
So it is for you.
If the branch withers
It would be most wise,
To stop the infection
Before it all dies.
If you don't stop it,
You'll deal with it to.
For infection spreads,
It doesn't care who.
So when you're a branch,
Be sure you are good.
For if you don't care,
Your little ones would.

For as the time flies,
It won't be so bad.
I'll look up and rise,
When fearful or glad.
